FIS Rules<\/h3>\n

FIS rules should be consider like the ideal behavioural model for a responsible skier, the purpose is to avoid accidents in slopes.<\/p>\n

1. Respect for other skiers<\/p>\n

You are responsible for your own safety and that of other skiers and snowboarders. Be aware of people around you and take necessary action to avoid skiing dangerously or causing a hazard to yourself or others.<\/p>\n

2. Control of speed and manner of skiing<\/p>\n

Control your direction and speed of travel, taking account of the terrain, snow, weather and traffic conditions.<\/p>\n

3. Choice of path<\/p>\n

Select an appropriate path. If you are skiing behind someone it\u2019s your responsibility to ski around them without causing any danger to them.<\/p>\n

4. Overtaking<\/p>\n

You can over-take from either left or right but you must leave enough distance between yourself and other skiers to allow them to manoeuvre properly.<\/p>\n

5. Joining and starting<\/p>\n

Before starting off or pulling out you must look up and down the slope and choose an appropriate moment to execute your manoeuvre, so as not to endanger yourself or other skiers.<\/p>\n

6. Stopping<\/p>\n

Avoid stopping at blind corners or narrow or enclosed places unless you have to i.e. you\u2019re injured. In the case of an injury you must vacate the spot as soon as practicable, to avoid further danger (to yourself or others). You should always stop at the side of the slope.<\/p>\n

7. Ascending and descending<\/p>\n

You must always use the side of the slope to walk up or down, whether wearing skis or not.<\/p>\n

8. Observing the signs<\/p>\n

Pay attention to and follow the signs, markings and notices on the slope.<\/p>\n

9. Offering assistance<\/p>\n

You are obliged by law to offer help and assistance in the event of any accident.<\/p>\n

10. Duty to identify yourself<\/p>\n

You are also obliged by law to give your personal details in the event of an accident, whether you caused it, witnessed it or assisted at it.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeIn”]<\/p>\n

Children Advises<\/h3>\n

In Think Snow we take care of kids as if they are our own sons\/daugthers, that is why we give you the follow advices for their security and wellness:<\/p>\n

  1. Use of helmet, goggles (or sunglasses) and ski gloves.<\/li>\n
  2. Use of sunscreen.<\/li>\n
  3. Check that they have the lif ticket for the appropiate day and that it is saved in a safe place.<\/li>\n
  4. In case that the kid suffer allergies, asma, or any medical condition, inform to the instructor so he\/she can take the appropiate due care so the kid can enjoy of his\/her ski lesson without any problem.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
